Finally, I’m getting around to posting some pics of the cakes I’ve made over the past two months. It’s been a tough time for us as a family as my son was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks ago, but through all of this I’ve had to carry on with my cake business as I had many orders booked and paid for. In a way, it has helped me cope with my son’s illness as I find cake decorating very therapeutic and after coming home from the hospital at night I would find myself in my kitchen surrounded by cakes and fondant and working till the early hours of the mornings to get my cakes done on time!

Here’s one of the first cakes I made just around the time my son was first admitted to hospital. I Absolutely loved making this one horse carousel cake for my client’s baby shower – so pretty and dainty!
