My brief was a garden cake, a few tools, white fence and make it pretty. It was for a 10 year old girl so it wasn’t going to be your typical gardening cake!

It was Lillianna’s ‘golden’ birthday which I learned is when the date of your birthday is the same as your age. So Lillianna was 10 years old on the 10th March. Hence the golden 10 on the gate!
She also stated there had to be a duck pond! Wasn’t sure how I was going to fit all this in a six inch cake so opted for a tiny pond on the board

She also requested her name on the cake! I opted to place it on the top in pale avocado green. It’s difficult to see in the picture but I didn’t want it standing out and detracting from the design. A few little extra details to make it cute and I was done!

It was a fun and cute cake to make and I’ve been told Lillianna intends to keep all the fondant details forever!!! Haha!
