“A group of cake artists decided to come together and pay homage to the fabulous artist David Bowie”

I LOVE David Bowie, so I knew I had to be in this collaboration! For my piece, I used a 4" and 6" tiered cake, iced in red buttercream. For Bowie, I cut out a piece of fondant and let it dry for a few days. Then I painted his face, which took a bit longer than expected, but since he was soo small, it took some time :)
For his body suit, I painted his body black and then piped the stripes on with royal icing.
