My cake for The Absinthe Ritual Collaboration- A Dutch Sugar Artist Tribute to Van Gogh 125 years of inspiration. When I visited the Van Gogh museum, I knew that I wanted to use his Almond Blossom painting as inspiration.
I’m absolutely flabbergasted and I feel very honoured that my cake has been shared yesterday by the van Gogh museum itself (https://www.facebook.com/VanGoghMuseum/?fref=ts). How cool is that? Personally, it is the best reward possible that you can think of.
I know I’m a little bit late, but take a look at the other creations of the Dutch sugar artists. They are amazing. I feel honored to be invited and to be part of this wonderful collaboration.
