Made this cake for Cake Craft Guide’s Wedding Cakes and Sugar Flowers Magazine, Issue 26 along with a mini-tutorial for the anemones. Thanks to Gulnaz for inviting me to be part of this beautiful issue. I am NOT a flower person at all so I was very honoured and humbled to be in the company of gorgeous flower makers.
I made my anemone unwired except for the centres so it is quite simple and oops just realized I forgot to dust them!!
And yes, all the patterns are hand applied on each tier. Just that bottom tier front portion took well over 7 hours.
The whole cake took over 40 hours including the flowers.
