A special surprise birthday cake ordered by the birthday boys girlfriend. She described him as a proud Croatian man who is a painter by trade. So she asked for the Croatian flag on a cake, so I created a 5 layered tall cake but carved the top to mimic the natural wavey movement of a flag in the breeze. It looked way too plain for my liking so I added a painters brush in the colours of the flag representing the job he loves doing. It was a huge hit I am told not only with the birthday boy but also his family and guests.
