This was a Huge Corporate event cake which was delivered to some Offices in Peterborough just before Christmas. When I first got the call asking me if I could make a cake in the shape of the o2 Cat, as in ‘Be more Dog ’ advert, I hadn’t heard of it and did a quick google search (OMG was my first reaction!) but you all know me, I like a challenge. I came up with some ideas and this is the one they really loved.

To give you an idea of size, the base cake measures 18" wide and the cat is almost 14" in height to its ears and it weighed a TON. The cat was all cake with ganache and covered with sugarpaste and we had to assemble it at home on to the base cake because of the tail. I knew they had lots of other suppliers delivering goods at the venue and that space was limited so that was the best option. The drive to the venue was the most nerve wrecking one I’ve ever had but it got there in one piece even the stick stayed in place!
The message we printed off, cut out and used as templates so that it would look exactly the same apart from the smaller words which we did by hand
I had some fantastic feedback even from some of my regular customers who work at the company.
