My largest & tallest cake to date! Seven tiers—all cake—of gold & crystal glitter (the corset is a double-barreled tier). Over 300 servings of cake! The corset is patterned after the birthday girl’s spectacular quinceanera dress bodice.
The masks are all handmade of gumpaste. I painted the sequin tiers with Rolkem Super Gold.
The bottom tier is White Velvet with Chocolate Silk buttercream filling. The next tier up is Red Velvet with White Chocolate buttercream filling. The next two tiers are both Hot Chocolate cake with Chocolate Chip cookie dough filling. The corset is White Velvet cake with Strawberry Buttercream filling, & the top tier is Caramel Apple.
