I love those gorgeous quilled birthday cards you can find, and I have always found the process very fiddly in icing, so I wanted to try it with wafer paper, and wow! So much easier!

Even better, I found I could make a super lightweight topper that could be ready in minutes with no real drying time needed.

Converted! Quilled everything coming up!

The printed ribbon and board wafer paper covering was a copyright free image I found online and printed at home, also with wafer paper.

This is my first tutorial for Cake Craft Magazine which I am really excited about. :D
