Hi, I made this cake for a wedding fair yesterday. The wood effect was created with with a mat and dusted with petal dusts, I hand painted the log effect on the top of the bottom tier. This is the first time I have created the chalkboard on a cake I’ve made little chalkboard effect cookies before but a cake was a little scarier I have to say. I used fresh flowers to soften the look and pretty lace ribbons. Hand painted initials on the chalkboard.
