The wedding cake I made a few weeks ago. The bridal couple only had one wish: for the cake to have a deep red-white colour combination with orchids. I intensionally gave the bottom as well as the top tier the deep red colour to focus the attention on the middle of the cake, where eventually the flower bouquets (red Cattleya and moth orchids) were placed. I’ve also decorated the red tiers with diagonal ruffles to match the pattern of the brides dress. A few embellishments to surround the flower bouquets melted all the elements of the cake together. I hope you like the result as much as I do.
