This piece is inspired by Edgar Allen Poe’s poem “the Raven”. The artwork on the bottom tier was recreated with permission from artist Carlo Giambaressi, using cake lace that I painted and piped and then transferred to the fondant. The bust of Athen and the crow are both hand sculpted.
