Native American Cake

I hope I have done the Native Americans justice. I don’t know the meanings behind different features, and I really want to find out more now. This cake was for a 60th man who loves Native American things, and Harley’s. The skull on the back was a figurine supplied by Yorgie’s daughter, and not edible. Everything else was edible (including feathers) except the wires in the feathers…. I loved making this so much, that I’m dying to make another one

This is…..Brilliant!!
My niece is a Aboriginal Canadian. She works for the Six Nations reserve here in Ontario. I will show her this photo and see if she can give me some info on your details. If she doesn’t know, she will make every effort to find out. I’m pretty sure this is most likely a ceremonial headdress. But not sure of the significance of what it was used for.
