The theme for the baby shower was triangles & chevrons, in the colors of copper, peachy pink, coral pink, nude & soft gray. I took all those colors plus a pretty sage green & created a mosaic of triangles making triangles on the top tier, hand-cutting & placing about eleventy-gazillion little triangles. Glad it was only a 6-inch—whew! It is a Lemon Velvet cake with Lemon Cream Cheese filling.

The bottom tier is a White Velvet cake with White chocolate buttercream filling, & has metallic copper chevrons. The orchids are sugarpaste & hand-dusted in the colors to match the cake.
