This wedding cake was inspired in part by an image the bride sent to me made by Sugar Ruffles. Those pearls and dragees were a pain to place within the lattice and took a good while to do. I couldn’t assemble this cake myself (it’s a long story) and had to leave it in the morning in 3 boxes at the reception site, and they assembled it that night. But they didn’t follow my instructions exactly, so the flower placement is a bit off. :-( Oh well. The things we cake artists obsess about!
