This was a surprise 80th birthday party for the matriarch of the family. So, i get to collaborate with her children in doing the cake and the dessert table. Since the celebrant loves her blings and anything fab, i just had to do a bit more of glitz and glamour. I did the hand painted cake and the cookies, as well. The desserts were red velvet and mango cupcakes, cheesecake brownies, assorted cookies, biscotti, etc…What i really liked best was making the gigantic red paper flowers for the back drop.
