Inspired by the amazing cakes by Katherine Sabbath, I was asked to make a birthday cake with rich vanilla, dark and white chocolate. Here are the specs:

- Vanilla Cream sponge
- Vanilla cream frosting
- my own home made lemon curd
- Belgian chocolate crumbcoat
- Couverture chocolate ganache cream
- Couverture white chocolate sauce
- I made belgian chocolate swirl triangles dipped in edible gold
- marshmallows
- chocolate coffee beans
- honeycomb
- Snickers
- Mars Bars
- Oreos
- Caramelos

It was death by chocolate with a smile. The customer who ordered it for her husband said it was the best cake she had tasted to date. Boy was I thrilled to hear that.

This is the most fun I’ve had making a cake and definitely the messiest :)
