I made this purple themed wedding cake for a lovely couple. It is always a challenge to turn a ordinary wedding cake into something special and worth remembering. The orchid bouquets give the cake a romantic feeling, which is exactly what I wanted to achieve. I wanted to work with different textures and lace for every layer of this cake to not only look different but also feel different, but that it still combined perfectly.
