Simone and Luke got married today.
And this is the messy finish buttercream cake I delivered today to an amazing venue which was set up for a Woodland Wedding.
So many clever touches and finishes had been carefully added like hand turned candle sticks on each table, and beautiful lanterns and fairy lights in the trees around the paddock by the pond which I know will be twinkling away like magic fairy dust later tonight.
The Owl toppers were bought by the Bride and the flowers are fresh which were supplied wired for me to use by the florists Louise and Julie from Mon Amie Living.
They are lovely ladies and were a great help to me – this is the first time I’ve used fresh flowers on a cake.
I was quite pleased with the result and the stand they supplied looks a treat against all the woodland touches too.
