Cosmos and grasses

Cosmos and grasses

These were supposed to be cosmos, but the petal shape is far too rectangular, however I thought they still made quite a nice posy with the grasses.
The buds and leaves of the cosmos are made out of flower paste too and were very fiddly and fragile. No breakages yet!
I followed Alan Dunn’s tutorial for making the grass – very therapeutic to make!

Life is too sweet to be bitter

Gorgeous! Would love to know how the grass was made.

Stunning detailing. Love these

You must never limit your challenges, instead you must challenge your limits

Thank you everyone.
Gilles, the grass is very simple. Twiddle a small piece of paste onto a fine wire, so it coats it very thinly. Then using a very fine pair of scissors cut into it. Then dust. Very simple.
