A special sugar shoe for another 50th birthday in May. This one was for a spunky and sassy lady who loves the colour hot pink. So I created a bold shoe to match her energetic personality. The young lady is called Hellene and so is her shoe.

This shoe was the third one I made. For some reason the hot pink fondant I made would not dry and just kept falling apart on me. I was ready to give up, but 3rd times a charm because this one finally set. I coloured batches of royal icing in different shades to pipe and brush the floral design on the shoe with cake lace accents to make the hot pink pop. Hellene was thrilled with her shoe and so was I!
