A cake I did recently for my helper’s 50th. She had no clue this was coming and we asked her to dress up in Purple ( we were celebrating violet day after all) and dressed the kids up in the shades too. sat her down ensconced between the kids and surprised her with the cake and gifts. She was thrilled and asked me to Facebook her the pics and videos later as she wants to show to her family back in Srilanka. Hardly much compared to the love and affection she gives to our family💜💜💜💜

Details- this was a butter cake that was supposed to be purple inside but some how turned blue ( maybe because of the really yellow butter I used). I wanted the outside to have a shabby light ombré look with fresh cream.
