Expressions Cake Art (Su)

Hi, I am Sugandha. Sometimes people find it easier to call me Su. I am based out of Singapore.

Mum to 2 beautiful kids - a boy of 6 and an almost 5 month old baby girl. I took a break from my corporate career to figure things out and spend time with my boy who was then 2 years old and it was painful to not see him grow up. Revisited my love for baking , in the interim and chanced upon the magical word 'Fondant' while I searched for non-cream cake decorating options for Hubby's surprise Cricket cake. Went on to bake and decorate a few cakes for friends and somehow they egged me on. I wasn't taking it too seriously, till the time a neighbor called me up to place an order for a cricket theme cake for her boy. Somehow I managed to get out of it with a " You must be kidding me " look ! But my friends turned out to be quite persistent. And well here I am in my 4th year of baking and decorating.

I love to work with different mediums and techniques of baking and decorating and so far my journey has been quite blissful.

My pet peeve - being in-organized. I have to jot down my week's work and do the time maths backwards with a re-prioritization option on a daily basis. This is how I get my work done and am able to strike a cake-life balance.
