Wedding Cake

I had heard about a lovely young lady who had been looking after her dad after he was diagnosed with several brain tumors. Sadly he was only given a few weeks to live so she had decided to get married so that her dad could be there to give her away. I offered to make their wedding cake as a present (they didn’t have a lot of money or time). I then spoke to my wedding supplier friends, before I knew it we had a dress, suits, shoes, flowers, wedding car, photographer, wishing tree, wedding favours, guest book, venue for reception! All donated!
How absolutely amazing people are! :o)

Lovely cake. Yes…so heart warming when everyone pitches in at a time like this. My neighbour and good friend had a similar situation. Her daughter got married at the hospital chapel, but they only had 4 days to plan. But there were flowers, food, desserts etc. Her Dad died 2 weeks after the ceremony.
