This work is my contribution to the Spring Fable event , in which participated the most relevant cake designers of Spain at the moment.
It is my interpretation of the tehuelche’s legend of the flowers origin.

Many years ago, the plants had no flowers…. He was living then in ground of the Tehuelches,a very beautiful girl called KOSPI., that how all the women of its village, was sewing quillangos,preparing paintings and weaving blankets. One day she stayed in front of the door of its KAU (awning), observing the thunderstorm that had come untied recently, KARUT, the Thunder, saw her,
and fell in love madly with her… Knowing that its love was impossible,he kidnapped her and hid her at the bottom of a glacier… KOSPI, turning out to be locked up and prisoner, suffered very much and she cried so much, that turned into ice floe, being forever part of the glacier… When KARUT looked for her again, he did not find her.. Then he got angry so much that with many fury shouted so, but so loudly, that undid the clouds and it began to rain on glacier… and so much it rained that the glacier melted… Of that time KOSPI transformed into water, ran mountain below quickly and on having arrived at the green vales, it watered them with generosity… When spring time arrived, her
heart felt desires to see again the light and the stars… Then, she climbed over the roots and the stems of the plants and put its beautiful face out for the tops of the branches, in the shape of petals of all the colors… Like that were born all the flowers and since then the Spring it is the most beautiful and happier time…
