I exhibited at the Quirky Weddings Fair in Belfast, Northern Ireland, again yesterday and for my new designs this time I choose 5 local wedding venues to Belfast to create cakes for. The first one was a beautiful new venue called Orange Tree House, it has glorious old stone walls and fabulous wooden beams so I asked my husband would he be able to make a swing for the cake so it could be hung from the beams. When he agreed we checked with the venue and they said yes, to go for it. Before the wedding fair we took the cake and swing to the venue for it’s very own photoshoot and here are the results.

I have the most beautiful vintage wedding flower book by Vic Brotherson and her floral designs inspired my choice of sugar flowers, I was absolutley delighted with how they turned out. I hope you like it too!
