I am a volunteer for Operation Sugar in NZ (a bit like icing smiles)
This weekend I made a cake for a little girl who has been poorly. When I found out she was a twin there was no way I could leave her brother out of the celebrations so I made him a cake too.
He really really loves dinosaurs, so this is his cake that I made especially for him.
I based it around a chubby baby T Rex. (I didn’t want to get it too scary looking as he is only 4)
I got to see the reactions of them both when they got their cakes which makes it all so special.
All carved mud cake (apart from the claws which are just fondant), and the whole thing was airbrushed and hand painted.
I LOVE making cakes like this.
