This cake was made for a Potter fan ….

The sorting hat is made from home made modelling chocolate and dusted with various dusts.

The board was hand carved .. no texture mat used … and the cake hand painted. I thought about air brushing .. but wanted a realistic watermarked parchment look …. so resorted to a sponge and colour
