Well, it has been awhile since I’ve shared, so here’s one from early 2014. I was honoured to be asked to make a cake for a 55th Wedding Anniversary. I had just been practicing wafer paper ranunculus using Kara’s Couture Cake’s tutorial (http://www.karascouturecakes.com/wafer-paper-ranunculus-tutorial) when the last minute order came in. The client was open to the design, as long as it was pink and feminine. I as so excited the ranunculus were going to have a purpose… other than keeping me up late at night because I was addicted. It was the beginning of a love of wafer paper. :)
