This piece is part of the Love Around the World Collaboration. I choose Wales and an old tradition of giving a carved wooded spoon to your Intended. This showed your intentions as well as your skill as a woodworker and thus ability to provide for your new family. Each part has it’s own meaning and was created to be a certain element or material. This was the most challenging thing I have ever done and the most rewarding. The top 2 tiers are actual cake and the rest is modeling chocolate. It was meant to hang from behind as if on a wall. I have had failures and successes with this project and have learned so much. It was a wonderful collaboration to be a part of! -Zawadi
