A time of the year to celebrate your love, rejoice it and move towards a life full of togetherness. I designed this cake for a collaboration with other cake artists from India’s Cake Artists Network ICAN, who came together for the first time ever to recreate the magic of love! In my cake creation I tried to capture the mood of the valentine season and the ICAN collaboration theme, “Love is in the air!” The hand-crafted hanging cake shows a couple figurine taking a romantic hot air balloon ride. The cake is displayed against a hand-painted backdrop with sugar filler flowers to create the lively feel.
