This was a last minute cake for a beautiful and amazing young woman who just happens to be a bit of a bookworm (according to her also amazing mother). It was my first attempt at a wafer paper flower, a silhouette, as well as painting on a cake. It’s chocolate cake with Swiss meringue buttercream filling and covered in white chocolate ganache.
