I was asked to make a small shower cake for the top of a cupcake tower. Their theme was bow ties. She sent me picture of a cake she had seen on line but it was for a baby girl and this shower was for a baby boy. After much research, this is what I came up with. Had a hard time with the black lines, they wouldn’t cooperate and kept breaking, had to do it over and still gave me a hard time. Wasn’t pleased with the way it turned out, but the customer loved it. The cake was vanilla cake colored in blue with butter cream frosting and fondant and gum paste decoration. (Someone else made the cupcakes)
