My granddaughter is obsessed with frozen…this is my take on frozen: I made the cake topper with a styrofoam base and used royal icing and glitter for the snow effect…the ice shards are made of melted candy mints that I coloured using edible gel and number 2 is made of fondant and silver glitter.
The top tier represents Anna’s dress and cloak. Elsa’s dress is the inspiration for the second tier…I used a jewel mold with different shades of blue and disco dust for the shimmer (it was very shimmery but the pictures are not very good). The bottom tier represents the ice for ice castle and the shimmery shades of blue in Elsa’s cloak…I used different shades of sanding sugars to give that effect.
OLIVIA <3 is fondant letters with snow caps and finally the board is covered in white fondant with snowflake impressions and fondant snowflakes.
And of course Princess OLIVIA with her cake <3 <3 <3
