At this time of year it isn’t always about Christmas as many people have birthdays too. This was my first Giant Cupcake and it was actually made from Fruit cake and covered in marzipan and then fondant. The flowers are gumpaste and I used pastel colours incorporating some large flowers but then filled in with much smaller flowers. Altogether there must have been about 80-100 floral heads covering the iced top.
