This year I was a little stuck on how I would be decorating my Christmas cakes so I took inspiration from a retro themed Christmas card is seen.
The little robins are made from a Perspex chocolate bird mould out of fondant and hand painted. The rest of the decor is from straightforward fondant and royal icing decorating to give the log, berry and snow effects.
