I started something last year by making my daughter’s Teacher a Christmas cake so I felt I had to continue that this year.
I started planning her cake then realised that it wasn’t going to be what I wanted so I changed my idea to one of these…..an elf from Rise of the Guardian.
This guy was fun to make and I loved seeing him come together. The glass of wine was because lets face it every teacher must be in need of a glass of wine by the end of the year. The glass was made of isomalt which only took 3 attempts to make…haha…. and went very cloudy because of the horrible humidity we had.
He stood at 55 cm tall so the box he was in was quite tall and the look of delight on the teacher’s face was priceless.
