It’s lovely getting to do something new and different.
My client came to me with a drawing of what she would like for her friends 40th birthday cake and this is the end result.
The cake was airbrushed to get the right shade of blue to match the birthday girls racing colours, and black sugar lace trimmed the base of each tier.
The silver “40” horseshoe is a real horseshoe that was intended as a topper for her to keep but it was too heavy so we used it on the front and I made a matching shoe for the top of the cake.
