I made this cake for my twin daughters, Phoebe and Indianna who turned one a couple of weeks ago.
Deciding on a theme was almost impossible! And then one day when I was doing the washing I came across my eldest daughter’s jumper which had a stack of teacups on it and at that moment the image of this cake popped into my head and so the theme was decided upon! The entire party was designed based on the design of this cake.
I really wanted a cake that was cute, girly but also something that was crazy as I wanted to capture the craziness of the last 12 months. So instead of stacking the teacups on regular tiered cakes, I went with a topsy turvy.
Everything was completely edible and this cake was certainly the most challenging cake I’ve made to date! I did enjoy making it though.

Gorgeous!
