I got an order for a Halloween cake this year and I was thrilled when she said I could do as I pleased! I saw a lot of pumpkin cakes, but I fell in love with this one from Dana Danila months ago and I was dying to do my own angry pumpkin!

I think mine came off looking more sulky than angry, but it was well received and I learned a lot while I was doing it!

Its layers of orange velvet inside filled with cream cheese icing, decorated with a gumpaste spider and a beetle, with two worms popping out of it too. I was very please that my tendrils held their shape and didn’t break when I glued them onto the cake!
