This is Boris and he is entirely edible. He is carved from 2x 10" vanilla sponges, an 8", 2x 6" and a 4", with a Rice Krispie Treat head and a sugarpaste tail. He stood 12" tall and sits on a 14" board. He was BIG. He is topped with sugarpaste likenesses of Isaac and his brother, Tom. in their favourite matching ‘bug’ shirts which they were wearing to the party. Every so often a cake briefly becomes part of the family. He started out looking more like a chicken than a dinosaur, but as he developed so did his character, and the whole family fell a little bit in love with him (I even caught Mr CakeyCake saying good morning to him!) – we were sad to see him go. I particularly love how he turned out a little bit goofy looking. Happy Birthday Isaac! x
