I made this cake as a competition entry and was really pleased to be awarded 1st place…!
The theme was ‘autumn’ so I decided to hand paint autumnal scenes of hedgehogs, a robin and a mouse. I created the bottom tier to look like a log, and mage sugar blackberries, flowers, and ivy leaves using Maggie Austin’s crafty class (definitely recommend!).
