I’m so proud to share my cake with you, so honoured to have been part of this beautiful collaboration celebrating the Hindu festival of Diwali.

Lord Ganesh is the remover of obstacles and of new beginnings so he seemed a fitting choice for my first collaboration. I found a beautiful artwork that inspired me (included in the photos). It’s completely hand painted. Can I pretend I’m at the Oscars and thank Candace Chand for leading the collab and keeping it such a friendly, supportive and happy group, and Kara for technical wizardry…I’m still on a little high after the whole event!

Pssssss….So…anyone else surprised by my inclusion in the amazing Festival of Lights collaboration?! Boy I sure was!!! Haha…you should have seen me after I was added to the group and it dawned on me I would be working alongside some of my favourite cake artists, the ones that inspire me most in this crazy world of sugar! I can’t lie, I nearly chickened out! Haha! So glad I didn’t!
