This cake was made from start to finish by my 2 year old daughter for her grandad (my father) and I am so flipping proud of her that I promised I would give it the full CakeyCake treatment. So here it is! I helped with the weights and measures and anything that was sharp, hot or dangerous, but she did everything else herself, including choosing what to put on the cake to decorate it. It’s a 6" chocolate layer cake with salted chocolate buttercream, decorated with Smarties, blueberry bonbons, chocolate raisins, jelly beans and sprinkles galore! Finished with super long candles and presented on an 8" board. I know I’m biased, but I think she did a pretty good job. What do you think? :)
