I made this cake for a joint birthday party of 5 girls and 3 boys all celebrating their 3rd birthday. It was a bit of a challenge coming up with a design that would suit both girls and boys, so in the end I decided to use the theme of summer, and what do we all love doing in summer???… Eat ice cream and lollies of course!
These lollies are ones that I had as a child in the UK, so not everyone will recognise them but I love them!!
