Here is a wedding cake from last weekend. Open peonies and dusky pink roses with a touch of gold here and there for constrast and a very pale pink ruffled bottom tier (which just looks white in the shot)
I would love to be able to stack a cake at home and take pictures before going to the venue, as most venues i seem to deliver to are old manor houses and have very dark rooms and hence lots of shadow on the cake from the flash, however living in pothole capital of the world means the cake probably would not make it in one piece to the venue, (and would be too heavy to carry anyway). I really need to go on a photography course and invest in some lighting maybe. Each tier was roughly 5-5.5" tall and different flavour in each tier.
