So a couple of months ago I entered the Baking Industry Awards, and was lucky enough to get through to the semi-finals of the Celebration Cake Business of the year. The theme for this years awards was Best of British, so I made this cake to celebrate this theme. Sadly I didn’t get into the finals, but happy to have taken part! A big thanks to Inga from Bella Baking (www.bellabaking.co.uk) for her on-going support and inspiration for the top tier (if you like that style – and who wouldn’t! – please check out her website…she also does classes!!)
