This cake was a collaboration with “Swisswedding” magazine. They had a ruby red color theme and I provided a display wedding cake to go with it. At first I had no idea what to add to red, as it’s such a hard color to match with! Also it was a challenge to work with crackly red fondant! I’m a fan of red with white polka dots so I couldn’t resist adding a few of those. In the end, I opted for champagne-colored, Cotton & Crumbs-style roses and was quite satisfied.
