This lovely bride wanted a distressed lace effect to fit in with the vintage/antique theme of her wedding. I created a bas-relief effect by using lace appliqué moulds and flowers mould and manipulating them with cake tools to distress them. The gold effect was dry dusted. The whole cake is set off by fantasy white peony style flowers finished with gold edible beading and gold edges.
