My mama gave me a darling little wooden box a few years ago, so I decided to make it for her for her birthday cake. It is all cake, about 6" tall, and is elevated like the original box (that pic is included too :), with the bottom panels made from gumpaste. I painted the fondant first then dusted with petal dust. My Grandmother’s favorite flower was a pink rose so I made her some to put on top along with some juniper berries. It took me 23 hours to make (even had exact measurements!), it was a labor of love, and worth every minute of it. She loved it :) Thank you for stopping by!
